STYLE NOTES
The art of a little layering
A favorite pendant. A second strand. A combination that feels entirely like you.
Start with a favorite
A layered look can begin with a single piece you already love. It might be a pendant you wear every morning or a simple chain that feels like part of you. Let that piece set the mood, then think about what you would like beside it.
There is no need to make every necklace compete for attention. Sometimes the most interesting combination is a quiet strand next to one distinctive detail.
Leave a little space
Try different lengths and look at the spaces between them. A shorter strand can frame a pendant underneath; two closer lengths can create a more collected, intentional feeling. The neckline of your outfit becomes part of the composition, too.
Use a mirror and move around. The combination should feel comfortable with the way you actually dress, rather than only working in a still photograph.
Make the edit your own
You can repeat a shape, mix textures or keep everything beautifully simple. Try the combination, take one piece away, and notice which version you prefer. Some days a layered necklace is the finishing touch. Other days your original favorite is enough.
